Rights Respecting School

At Bryntirion Infant School, we are a Rights Respecting School. We have achieved the Bronze Award: Rights Committed.

We actively support the work of UNICEF to promote awareness of The Convention of the Rights of the child.

Our Rights mascot is Unity the Unicorn. Unity helps us learn about our Rights. You will see her around the school

We aim to give children experiences to learn about their rights and to gain an understanding of their rights. Children are encouraged to understand the rights of others. Learning about rights supports children to become active, responsible citizens of both Wales and the wider world.
